Court bailiffs have given up. What next?

Good morning, I would be grateful for some guidance please.
my elderly mother had a boiler fitted by an unregistered engineer. He showed her an old card. Gassafe shut the boiler down as it was unsafe. She had to get another company to put the work right. I took the engineer to court to claim the money back for rectifying the work. He didn't put in a defence so it was ruled in our favour. He didn't pay so I got a warrant of control. The court bailiffs visited three times and failed to speak to him.
My mother is 86 and this has affected her so badly. I don't know what to do. Do I give up now or go back to court for a third party order or something different. He's still working and still displaying logos on his website fraudulently. It makes me so angry but I don't want to waste money going after him if there's no point.
Thank you

You may be able to use the High Court enforcement service, who have far more powers than a county court bailiff. However that incurs additional fees which you would only get back if they are successful and can recover enough money.Riteway2dothings said:Good morning, I would be grateful for some guidance please.my elderly mother had a boiler fitted by an unregistered engineer. Whilst you can (and should) report his actions to all relevant authorities (Gas Safe etc) that won't get you the money. Sadly it could fractionally reduce the chance of their being enough assets for the high court agents to seize if GasSafe manage to stop him trading..
How much money are you talking about including fees you have paid so far?0 -
So what gas safe number did he put on the benchmark, a 2 minute chech will tell if it's registered or not.0

HCEOs still can't force entry though, and they can't take away a work vehicle that is leased for example, and generally speaking work tools.Undervalued said:

You need to be cautious when chasing people like this. They generally know the rules and are quite adept at avoiding recovery tactics, and if the HCEOs can't get money for the debtor, the OP will be on the hook for their fees.0 -

So unlikely to be something an 86 year old woman could do in two minutes.0 -
The OP in this thread is the 86 year old lady's son who is dealing with it on her behalf.....Maskface said:PragmaticMoneySaver said:
