The Nationwide Flexplus account at £13 per month is widely know and recommended for including travel insurance (amongst other benefits). The Co-op Everyday Extra account provides similar cover at £15 per month. I don't know if there are others.
However, from age 70 the Flexplus costs a further £65 per year for an age upgrade, making the total annual cost £221. The Everyday Extra provides cover up to age 75 without a further charge (I'm not sure what happens beyond that), so the total annual cost is just £180.
So, from age 70 to 75 it seems the Everyday Extra is better value. Does anyone have experience of this account and its insurance? I would welcome any comments or observations.

HSBC Premier is of no help to the OP, as the travel insurance only covers you when you are under 70 when your trip starts. In addition, it has steep eligibility criteria.0

I don’t have any experience of either, but if you are not bothered about having mobile phone cover, Barclays offer a travel pack with worldwide travel insurance up to the age of 80, and fully comprehensive RAC breakdown cover for £12.50 per month. Could be another option.1

Of course, none of these travel policies will cover you if you have undeclared health problems.
I remember years ago considering a Halifax Ultimate account especially because it included travel insurance but when they checked the extra money needed was very much dearer than my annual travel insurance premium.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

I believe Lloyds platinum covers you until age 80. Not sure how the cover compares with Nationwide travel insurance. Cost is £21.0

Remember these extra's are not provided by the banks. They are provided by 3rd party Ins's companies. U K Insurance Limited in the case of Nationwide.
>>Note:
If the insurer, U K Insurance Limited, is unable to offer you an upgrade to offer the level of cover you need, or your upgrade insurance premium is higher than you expected because you have medical conditions, help could still be available.
So you do really need to check ALL the details before signing up to a packaged bank account on the basis of Insurance policies. Or you could end up with a nasty shock if you need to claim.Life in the slow lane1 -
In the case of NWide, if you don't notify them of pre-existing conditions then those conditions are (obviously) not covered but it doesn't invalidate your travel insurance for everything else.0

There is an extensive list of non notifiable pre-existing conditions which saves having to inform them of minor health issues.0 -
"Barclays offer a travel pack with worldwide travel insurance up to the age of 80, and fully comprehensive RAC breakdown cover for £12.50 per month" -- sounds a good offer but the latter half is useless as far as I'm concerned because I don't drive. Don't know why even if I answer No when asking whether I drive or not, it still adds it to the package or in which case Barclays should not ask that question?0
