Dropped off a parcel at a collection access point, now gone missing.

This was what I was asking - if you only had the choice of the locker.galaxygirl1 said:@Ergates, sorry, I'm not entirely clear on what you're asking. The only label I was provided with was a UPS label if this is what you mean? You can then either use a UPS drop off point (usually a shop or similar) or a locker. .
However - from the sounds of it (unless I'm missing something): Handbag-Clinic subcontracted delivery/collection to UPS. UPS subcontracted parcel "collection" to Q-locker. As neither of these were arranged by you, this shouldn't be your problem - and you shouldn't be dealing with either of them (as you have no contract with them).
What, arguably, *should* happen is that the Handbag-Clinic pays you, then claims from UPS, and then UPS claim against Q-locker.
The slight complication here is that you didn't hand the parcel over to an actual person - I'm not sure if/how this will impact your rights. If you order something online and give delivery details of "If nobody in, leave parcel in porch" - but then the parcel gets stolen before you get home from work, this is still the retailers problem (legally) as they never handed it to you or to another nominated person. My concern that the same principal applies here.
I think it's still worth pursuing with the Handbag-Clinic.1 -
@Ergates Thank you so much for the advice!0
