What's my rights even if Easyjet give more than 14 days notice of cancellation.

Options

Easyjet informed me (by giving more than 14 days notice) our original flight had been cancelled but they transferred us to another flight departing same day but 30 minutes earlier.

Since last week I have been checking the Easyjet departures to this destination and so far they have cancelled nearly all of their morning flights - 5 out of 6 flights -  in the last 8 days. Some with little notice. I am not feeling confident this new flight will go ahead in the coming days. And if they cancel last minute we will incur non refundable hotel costs.

Because they offered us an alternative flight at the moment, are we still able to request a refund for the entire booking now, even though the return flight hasn’t been cancelled.

The email quotes the following (below) - although they only mentioned the outward flight in the email ?

    Not happy with these changes?
We’ve got three other options available for you – please have a look at them and choose the one that suits you best.

    1. You can switch to another flight for free. Our flights are currently available to book up to 8 May 2023, giving you plenty of opportunities to fly with us later.

    2. You can get a voucher for the full value of your booking. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and give you the flexibility to book travel anywhere on our network when you’re ready to fly.

    3. You can get a refund for the full value of your booking. Refunds will be paid to the account you made the booking with. We’re processing refund requests within 7 days, and they may take a few extra days to come through to your bank account.

You are entitled to your choice of an alternative flight, or a full refund (which will include the return flight as well if you choose).
