Yes I get that, but I've also read that sometimes they win cases due to the judge just basing the outcome on contract law rather than individual situations like mine. So I'm a bit confused really.KeithP said:You will have read by now that debt collectors are powerless... yes?

GSV has later images since my earlier pics.
Now Savills can clearly be seen on the totem sign.
It says...MANAGED BY SAVILLS UK - Helpdesk 0845 838 7627.
Give them a ring tomorrow.4 -
Now they are almost certain to have records. Well worth asking them for confirmation that they attended at date.....time..... You are a member and they will want help you, and keep it that way
And I'm not sure court is what I want, like I said due to ill health and the fact that my car ran out of battery. How exactly do I prove that? When I had to wait for people to come and get it to jumpstart. Hence the parking fine. It's not like I got a receipt from a breakdown company.
The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.2 -

True but i didn't get help from a breakdown company as I didn't have breakdown cover. I had to wait for some friends to come in the middle of the night and some strangers to jump start the car. That's what I meant by saying I don't exactly have evidence of this taking place unless I get like witness statements but I don't think that counts as solid evidence.Trainerman said:Now they are almost certain to have records. Allow me to disagree. If you had a couple or three statements confirming what you say, and under a proper statement of truth I believe that it would help with the balance of probabilities. IF they/someone was in court to be cross-examined then even better.bandolockdown98 said:

To get some perspective in this, Highview, represented in due course by DCB Legal are highly unlikely to take this to a court hearing. You'll need to go through all the motions of defending this when they do issue proceedings, but ultimately that will be to your benefit.I thought I'd draw your attention to this fairly recent thread which you might have not yet seen. You must keep going through all the necessary court procedure phases, but the hope is that your case will follow the same pattern as all those detailed in the thread. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hi @bandolockdown98
Can you please provide an update on this? Did Savills cancel your ticket? If yes, please share the email address that you used to contact them. Thank you!
I am in a similar situation with the same retail park (POPLA refused two parking tickets from Highview Parking (GroupNexus) — MoneySavingExpert Forum)
