To help a bit away from the DRO, your landlord may have issued a S21 but it does NOTmean that you have to leave when it expires. All it means is that the landlord can start legal action to force you to leave, this will take time and even if the court says yes you must go there can be extra ime if you stay and they have to apply to get baliffs to force you out. Thhat is the point where the council are forced to house you. But please pop down to the House buying, renting and selling forum and put a post on there for this part of your problem, as you will get a lot of help there and support in what to do and when. Basically right now you do NOT have to leave, but it is advisable for you to look for somewhere else to rent if you are unable to buy for a while.
I’m trying through the council today, I also have environmental health coming tomorrow. Never had gas safety check since moving in, no electric upstairs for 5 months and the landlord only just put lights back on upstairs to sell. We can’t touch downstairs lights at all as most are metal. We’ve been using lamps for months.
This is the only information I have that they told me to use. States nothing about my problem. Iv written to my local mp since they’re using the government route to get out of it, she said if the were audited they would be in trouble due to my dro??? It’s all paid off in full!!! They won’t reconsider me until I pay for new crudités report in 8 weeks. I don’t have the luxury of time at the moment. I went through their company rsc and passed n then chose the plot with my kids. 5 weeks later it’s a no!! Soul destroying
