I've just compared our gas and electric consumption in May 2022 against May 2021. We've REDUCED our electric consumption by 31%, and our gas by 61% (was May very cold last year?), and our bill is 23.7% higher. Heaven help us all come the winter. Our anticipated gas usage has gone down from 17700 to 13300 and electricity from 3600 to 2570 across the past year.Make £2025 in 2025

My fix ends next month, so we'll have to get real when it comes to energy usage.
I don't think there's much fat in the electricity bill, and our house is well insulated. Will just have to cut the "discretionary" heating usage and just have heating on 7-9am, and 5-9pm. Baselayer and jumper for when I'm working from home. Perhaps a 10% drop tops.Pensions actuary, Runner, Dog parent, Homeowner1 -
I don't plan on making any energy savings other than what I've always done, as energy has always cost money regardless of price hikes, so it costs what it costs (as long as I can afford it)

I voted 1-10%.
In practice I may end up reducing my electricity usage by up to 20% (3.8 kWh per day down to 3) but gas usage will very much depend on the weather over the winter. If it's colder than last winter then my gas usage will probably go up.1 -
I can't see how I could save any more energy. I am aiming to shift more of my heating from gas to scavenged firewood and more of my electricity to the off peak window. I'm eagerly anticipating the second Ripple Energy wind farm getting built and saving me money. Otherwise it's a case of balancing not freezing and not going bankrupt.3

I have probably made pretty much all the low-hanging fruit savings already but between 1-10% may be possible if (& it's a big if) winter weather plays along. Last year was very mild so it is very possible that my gas usage for heating may be higher 22/23 than it was 21/22.1

Compared to what I used in my previous house (3 bed semi) to present house (2 bed bungalow) I am now using just over 20% per year less (comparing my own annual consumptions from June 21 and June 22) for both electricity and gas with the likelihood that this will only go higher until December when I first really started economies in energy use. Hoping to get to 30% less without too much loss of comfort.1
