  • Hello all. Just to say I’m alive!  I’ve not been on here for ages (66 posts on black cats thread and 133 on buffys since I was last on) so have some catching up to do (though not sure yet when I’ll manage this).

In the meantime hope everyone is well.

    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy
  • You have been in my thoughts, lovely to hear from you, hope you and your family are keeping much better now.x

  • Hey all! Sorry I’ve been MIA for ages. Life seemed to get a bit overwhelming but I think I’m ok now.

updates: hmmmm difficult as I guess it’s been a long time! We’ve done ok MSE wise but could do a lot better. It just seems to cost so much to live!

builder came round recently - we will get quote in feb as they are stacked until then with a view to starting sept(!) so we are manically saving and won’t be able to book any holidays until we know how much it is likely to be (and factored in a spend for contingencies). Trying hard to get 1 or 2 more quotes but it’s difficult as builders reluctant given they are so busy!

    Work is still difficult.

Trying to be more MSE by using up leftovers. DH cooked a Christmas ham on Xmas eve and loads left so today we bought some leeks and he’s made a load of pie fillings which we’ve frozen and the will make into pies as and when. Tonight a load of leftovers have gone onto home made pizzas to use those up

    all ver boring!!
