I get the sentiment but you don’t get to tell people what they can and can’t spend YOUR money on even if they appear to be making bad decisions (she might have been buying fags for a relative who can’t get to the shops). The OPs holidays could be paid for by a wealthy relative.

you may be an exception but most people are net takers over their lives, so most people believe they are subsiding others when if fact they are being subsidised (or will be during their lifetimes).

personally I’d rather be healthy and working (even if struggling) than to have health issues of any kind, so it doesn’t make me jealous at all.

but I totally get the strong sense of fairness.
those of us who are healthy are lucky

    Elsien.....even food, accommodation and travel....
Even with full housing, council tax and no construction ti support...
Maximum benefit is £1400 every 4 weeks.
Would any rational person see the OPS lifestyle as feasable?

Also Sri Lanka has been, and continues to be, a no go area because of internal issues
I didn't realise this until i looked. See link https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/sri-lanka  OP claims they went there for 28 days since October 2021, not sure how that was possible.

It’s not normal, but it is possible they have a benefactor.

    Regardless.
Can someone on a max benefit income of £1400 (even with minimal living costs.... dtill food and utilities) afford a month 8n Sri Lanka, plus pay travel, accommodation and living expenses for several other trips?
Any rational person would agree that its fantasy

117 aftercare so housing may be covered and there wouldn’t be a contribution to the local authority.  Council tax -SMI exemption. Shared house so utilities split between however many people live there.
Living frugally the rest of the time and visiting places where you can live cheaply, it’s not beyond the realms of possibility.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

And paying travel, accommodation for minimally 2 other people?
Consider the OP 8s in a regime of forced medication... urt they are allowed to go to another country ALONE for 4 weeks?  Seriously?

If someone else is paying for the holidays then yes of course they can.
(I’m aware it may be a wind up).

If someone else Is paying there is no issue. But the OP  Is clearly inferring that all of this is paid for from benefits, Which clearly isn't possible
