Hi, i was just wondering if anyone has actually received any proof a debt they are chasing with regards to yourselves?
I was in the same boat as everyone else, received letters etc, asked for proof as cant remember this debt and as of yet have received nothing!
Ive called them a few times as they gave me a date each time stating how long my account was on hold for but have still not heard a thing. Its been going on since before xmas now and im eager to get to the bottom of it. I also had problems with them sending out further action letters even though a/c was meaznt to be on hold. I cannot be chewed to ring them again and listen to their arrogant call centre staff so any advice would be appreciated. What step can i take now?:o
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to post comps

If they ask you name tell them your David Beckham and your date of birth is whatever random number rolls off your tongue, tell them to write to you. If they have your details they will write so dont go helping them.
Youll notice that debt collectors are super nice untill you have confirmed id with them then they switch into nasty mode so if you dont do that you wont have any issues. Waste there time by all means, ask whay music they like or chat about football but you are under no obligation to go giving personal details to some bloke on the phone.

Just had a run in with them. Wife got a text saying contact them urgently and when she phoned and told them who she was they said they had got the wrong person. Apparently they had another person registered against my wife's mobile. Obnoxious woman at the other end was very rude and refused to apologise for their mistake. Why can't the regulators do something about these parasites

I have had many calls from this company and this morning I snapped and phoned them, saying please do not call this number ever again or I will take it further. The operator was almost robotic in his response, no emotion in his voice whatsoever, and no apology. He asked for my name which I refused, and he wouldn't give out the name on their account (I do know from other messages left that they are searching a male).

I have since emailed the Credit Services Association, as they are supposedly a member, asking for their intervention, and have also sent a message to FI via their website. Have since printed off a letter template for harrassment by telephone which I will send off, regardless if I receive further calls or not.

Even disabling text messages via the BT/T mobile service has not stopped them; still coming in every morning around 8.30.

They used to be by humans leaving a message on my answerphone (why couldn't they ever get me when I was IN??), now it's by SMS every single morning.

Well this person has had enough!:mad:

I have no business or dealings with them, neither do I have any debts (I live a debt free life; ALL credit cards and loans have been repaid.)
  • My husband has been receiving text messages from Fredrickson International asking him to contact them urgently, so far he hasnt replied to them as not sure if it was a scam, after reading this forum i think ignoring them is the best thing to do. Any advice on this please as not sure what to do about this if it persists.

    Hi,

Been having messages left on our answer machine from FI, asking to ring back urgent. Have not. Then I picked the phone up this morning and a person from them asked for my husband. Said he is not in. When would he be back, I said I donot know. Put the phone down.
What is it all about, we are two months into a IVA payment plan
So if its anything to do with debts, then with this in place. We should be left alone to get on and pay our debt. After all the heart ache of years of dealing with the horrible DCM company.

I don't want to start in answering my phone again.
    Regards
