Supermarkets that sell flowers

£1 for a bucket. You want them free?

Ask. They may send them back to the flower suppliers or they may go into their recycling.
I've been happy to help them out by taking the plastic that is found under yoghurt pots and cottage cheese etc. They are perfect to use for small pots I use for seedlings in the greenhouse and saves me having to buy specifically for that purpose. Just ensure you get the type that don't have holes in the bottom!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. They would be ideal for my tomato plants.Morrisons tape them into bundles of about ten and sell them, near the flower stand.I think it was quid when I bought them a few years back but inflation, greed & change of ownership may have upped the priceEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens1 -
Same as what farway said.
Dont know when but I've picked up a pack from them.
Drill holes in the bottom.
One left stored in the shade filled with rainwater and a couple of frogs. I put some large stones and the frogs stayed.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

So look for the one that has the most.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

I got some from Morrisons years ago, about 20p each, they're still going strong. I think I was lucky to be there when they were selling them off.0

Notice Morrisons have some new silver coated ones.
Not so useful.
Whether they'll be selling the black ones off or its just a blip I don't know.
You can get buckets quite cheap these days if you look in the pound shops or Proper Job.
