missed euro car park appeal , now have Debt recovery plus letters

Hello
I was wondering if I could be given some guidance.
I have spent hours reading through different posts but cannot come to a conclusion on what I need to do.
In feb I parked Meadows retail car park in chelmsford and paid for parking but must have slightly overstayed, I do not remember.
I haven't been home for a few months due to flooding and yesterday opened numerous letters from Euro car parks and also DRP threatening court action.
I made a mistake by attempting to call DRP and input the reference number, but it then said their offices are closed. I know now not to attempt to contact them.
My question is should I try to somehow contact Euro car parks to explain the situation or just completely ignore now? Euro car parks appeal section on their website will not allow me to appeal and says to deal with DRP.
Many thanks

No need to spend hours on this. I assume you are in England, not Scotland?
DRPLUS us more than covered in the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread. I don't think it can be stated much more clearly than the thread already does, it even has picture of letters to laugh at.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You can (and should) safely ignore letters from debt collector companies. You should not ignore PCNs, letters before/of claim or N1 forms from Northampton CCBC. Euro Car Parks are a member of BPA and should have offered you a POPLA code. Complain to the BPA (sara.r@britishparking.co.uk). Do not phone debt collectors or PPCs - everything in writing!1

Does it mean that two letters from Euro Car Parks and two letters from Debt Recovery Plus were delivered to you some time ago, but you didn't retrieve them from your 'postbox' in a timely manner?
To me, that doesn't look like a good reason for ECP to extend the time allowed for an appeal.0 -
I just want to know what will happen if I do nothing at this point. Could ECP take me to court0
-
Yes they could, again this is in the NEWBIES thread, post #2.
We win 99% of cases and ECP hardly ever sue anyone anyway, so the risk of a claim is negligible and the risk of losing even less. And even if you did, there's no huge legal fees/costs or CCJ risk if you just read our resource thread and follow our advice.
Come back if it ever happens, but try and get rid of it now with PLAN A.
This is why you do PLAN A (post #1 of the NEWBIES thread and I am not talking about an appeal) to get rid of it. We are not advising to do nothing. We are telling you how to kill it off.
You do need to re-think the registered address of your car. You could miss PCNs, NiPs and all sorts of things, including your car tax reminders. Gets people into all sorts of bother.
Change the car VRM address (a DVLA requirement) and in the meantime, get someone at 'home' to open your post, or collect it weekly.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So what I should do is contact ECP by post (because it not allowing me to contact them online anymore) and send a letter template?
And yes, the car is being sold this week anyways and that is good advice thanks0 -
