Cancelled BA flight

 There were 11 of us booked to fly from Madrid to Gatwick on Thursday evening

We were moved to a flight via Lyon with a six hour stop over there. There are 4 children and 1 baby. The flight they offered returned to Heathrow and our cars were at Gatwick 

We moved our flights (which took two hours to sort) which left 12 hours earlier.

We lost a day of our holiday due to this (and the cost of our villa)

We also incurred additional costs with our car parking company

I have already lost £100 due to changing a name in error- and you not refunding me correctly 

Can anyone advise if I am likely to be able to get compensation for this

    Hi, that sounds like a really awful nightmare all round.

    Yes, I should think you will be able to get refunds/compensation.

    As you accepted their offer, no.

    The time to dispute this would have been when the flight was moved, not after you've been on your jollies and come back.  Of course, that would mean you'd have lost more than one day's holiday, you'd have lost the entire thing.
