BA delay compensation ?

Just arrived at Heathrow on flight BA 274 from Las Vegas , doors opened 3 hours and 8 minutes late, I thought we would be due compensation but it seems long haul flights need to be delayed by 4 hours…is that right

Was this the 31 May departure from LAS?  Schedule arrival into LHR should have been 15:30. FlightRadar24 shows it landed 2h34m late at 18:04. Was the extra delay a ground delay at LHR?

flightaware shows it landing at 18:03 and gate arrival at 18:38
also shows it as 3 hours and 8 minutes late
depending on reason for delay could be 50% compensation (although they may argue that the 35 mins between landing and gate was out of their control...or at least some of the time)

Yes you all correct it did land at 1804 and then there was no spare gate to unload until 1838

guess it’s worth a shot at 50%. The delay from Las Vegas according to the pilot was a tech issue with the outgoing plane. It’s been late pretty much every day for a while so not sure that is the truth

 compensation received at the 50% rate , no hassle from BA just took a while to reach my account
