Outbound Easyjet flight cancelled - what happens to my return flight?

Hi all,

as with many other passengers, Easyjet have cancelled my outbound flight with only a week's notice. Can someone explain what my rights are around what would have been my return flight, which has not been cancelled by Easyjet (yet)? That is, if I ask for a refund for the cancelled outbound flight do I automatically get a refund for the return flight?

Awful news for those with children and a more pressing need to be there.

You can simply contact them and request a refund for that inbound/return flight that you no longer want.

It is not normally automatic as peoples needs and requests will differ.  Some in your situation might look to book an alternative outbound flight and still want the return flight.

Should be a simple request however.

As long as they are on the same booking reference I can confirm this is the case.

If booked separately the inbound flight will still stand.
