Yes we do pay site who are a commercial account
On my site the age group are mostly 60's and upwards and most only have state pension to live on ,they could do with this help
Yet  Rishi and his mates who don't need this £400 will get it because they pay direct to an energy provider
None of it makes sense yes help people but not billionaires who dont need the help

If most are over 60’s & getting the winter fuel allowance they should also get the extra £300 paid this year & any on pension credit will also get the extra £650

What exactly doesn't make sense to you?

For ease of distributing the money and low admin costs they simply send the £400 to every domestic energy account as this covers 99% of households.

If they started checking every single households income this would incur a substantial admin cost and delays in sending out the payment.

Hello, I have posted very much the same as you have, I have e.mailed my MP, the Chancellor, the Energy Minster any many more and waiting on answers, this has to be sorted.
Please do let us know about the responses you receive. This issue is on MSE's radar, but it would also be interesting to see what politicians are saying to people who write to them directly on the topic.

Hello, got this e.mail today, don't know if you have seen this, came from gov.uk website

    8. If I live in a park home, will I get the £400? Or if I pay for energy in my rent, how do I make sure my landlord passes on the reduction?

We recognise that there are certain situations where a third party will be responsible for the bill (and be named on it). In these situations, any charges should then be passed onto the end user, typically through all-inclusive rent (landlord or tenant) or ‘pitch’ charges (for example park homes).

We are exploring this issue as we continue to develop the policy and we have gathered more evidence through the consultation

That looks the old statement from beginning of April that was made for the £200 loan/not loan.

Problem is that there have been no updates since the original statement was made two month ago, or that they are really doing anything about it.

Can you provide the link where this one is on the government site?

    Edit
Ok, that is the old FAQ and has just been updated from £200 to £400 yesterday.

Seems they have managed to get from "we will explore" to "we are exploring" in the last two month.

I live in a park home too, but I pay my energy supplier directly…….doesn’t seem fair if you pay the park owner direct you don’t get it!  Most people in park homes don’t get pension credit…….£400 off your energy bills is a lot to lose……..people don’t choose to pay their electricity from the park owners, they have no choice!
  • I’m not sure if I will get this. I’m on a three year fixed tariff with British Gas Lite - called by a third party who asked if I worked at home (which I do) but later turned out I needed to be fully self employed.

So I guess this isn’t a domestic tariff?

Yes British gas lite is a business tariff.
