EDF - 3yr fixed rate - Moving House

Hi, I've been told three times since the 24th June that I can take my tariff to our new property, until yesterday when I was told that I couldn't. The operator has raised a complaint for me, so I have found the T&Cs and forwarded the sections mentioned in this thread to them. I don't expect to hear from them for at least "4 business days", so it will be the end of next week.
The supplier at our new property is E.On Next. Do I have to register with them in order to get the tariff to switch? Any pointers to help me get this tariff transferred will be greatly appreciated. I was lucky to be able to fix until September 2024 so I really need this to be successful.0 -
Yes, you must register with E.ON Next, that part is unavoidable, just call them and insist on remaining on their Standard Variable Rate. Once this is done you can chase EDF to try and get them to let you switch back to them on your old tariff...rownie23 said:The supplier at our new property is E.On Next. EDF was the only supplier to my knowledge that allowed transfers.0 -
I've already been on to E.On to register with them, thank you for the advice.MWT said:
