Car Warranty after writing off car
Comments

I've never bought a car warranty before, but presumably there is some reference in the documentation that refers to the vehicle you originally bought? So either the purchase invoice for the car refers to (or mentions) the warranty, or the warranty documentation refers to the car purchase?mouldnffc said:Read the terms and read them again, nothing stated on this eventuality with them.Believe it or not if the answer was in the terms I’d hardly be throwing the question out there!
wouldn’t have written there’s nothing in the Ts&Cs either!
If so, then unless the warranty T&Cs specifically state that the warranty can be transferred to a different car, I would presume it can't be transferred and is specific to the original car you bought.0 -
I've had refunds beyond cooling off period on
Mini Extended Warranty
Audi (VWFS) Extended Warranty
Lexus (via RRG Group) extended warranty
All pro-rated and obviously with no previous claims
Always worth a call to the warranty provider rather than the dealer0
