    I never thought that I would read a post confirming that EDF is performing better than my supplier Octopus in respect of EBSS.

    I am on EDF's DD Whole Amount Monthly and the first £66 credit has appeared in my account this morning.
    I never thought that I would read a post confirming that EDF is performing better than my supplier Octopus in respect of EBSS. 
    But it is EDF and their useless accounting system - The payment will probably vanish or even become a debit by this afternoon !!

    I'm not sure that Octopus are that far behind the curve at the moment given this part of the guidelines:
    "5.6  Suppliers should aim to provide the EBSS payment to eligible customers on the earliest possible date within the scheme month for all customer payment types, except for Direct Debit customers, where the EBSS payment should be provided in line with the established Direct Debit collection schedule."
    On that basis I wouldn't be expecting to see the credit for another 10 days...
