Applying for Universal Credit, what does a credit check show?

Thanks. But what I'm asking is what does it show? Bank account balances, ect? I mean I'm applying for Universal Credit and curious as to what it will show the Universal Credit peeps.

Credit checks have nothning to do with applying for UC.

Why on earth would UC be doing a credit check? It's money for you to keep (well, spend, to live on), calculated based on set parameters of your individual circumstances which are all explained here https://www.understandinguniversalcredit.gov.uk/new-to-universal-credit/how-much-youll-get/
They do have to verify claimants' identities but they have their own processes for that, not a credit check. [They also do have processes for checking people's savings to make sure of entitlement, as is often a question asked here.]2 -
