    Cheers for finding that link.

I remember that now and have just this minute, heavily edited it to make sense and remove mention of lockdown.

You can use some or all of it.

In fact, your version looks great.

Just by way of update, I have received a letter from QDR advising they will be proceeding with the case and have been sent the (old style without the new D1 question) N180 form to complete and send back to the court, which I will be doing in the next day or so.

Just as an aside, I'm assuming that the mediation option would be a non-starter? I'd expect that if I agree to mediation I would be expected to agree to some sort of compromise in the middle where I would still have to pay, which obviously isnt what I want to do?

    Yep.

Fully covered by @bargepole in his guide to the court process. It's linked in the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread under the RED CAPITALS heading:

Your description is very useful however,
New question D1.  description on form N180 allows only about 500 characters (  about 76 words). would it be possible to provide short description please ?

Thank for that, but as I received it as a paper copy, and I don't have a typewriter, I have to fill it in by hand. I hope they can read my writing!
You can download a copy that you can fill in and send by e-mail; instructions are in the defence template thread.
