    Not only should you pay that 10th year but every year thereafter up to the year before you reach pension age. Each extra year your purchase is worth an index-linked pension of £5.29/week (£275.08/year). If you are employed or self-employed you will be eligible to pay the much cheaper Class 2 contributions of about £160 for each added year.
