Buying a toilet

Comments

  • To those who have suggested Rak.... Does anyone have the 600 (series 600) or 625 (tonique) projection toilets?  I am wondering if going from a 650 will be overly noticeable?

    Many thanks

The 600 seems to have a squarish front to it. My MIL has a similar shaped toilet which I find uncomfortable. I think there's a reason most loos have a rounder shape, the seat fits your bum better!

Can't think that 5cm reduction from the wall will be that noticeable when you sit on it, if it makes the difference to the space in your cloakroom

Certainly wouldn't want one of those if that was the only place to attempt to clean teeth. As in all these things, they put a picture of a loo on a long empty wall, when in reality you're only likely to go for that sort of thing because you are extremely limited for space.
It won't suit everyone, but worth considering. Where I've seen them in real life there is a separate basin also.
The tap ran until the cistern was full, so you washed your hands while it was running and therefore didn't run water to wash hands after flushing the loo.

I agree showrooms and pictures are misleading.

I've got Rak 600, not had any issues. I picked it because of the compact size and the design that matches the rest of the bathroom. Can't say that the shape causes any discomfort, I don't spend too much time sitting there  :D
