Also applauding the response. You want someone who will respond to your ‘patient’s lived experience’ and treat / manage your symptoms with you, NOT just look at data!

I am perfectly open to the idea that maybe my symptoms aren't manageable fully, and maybe combined BC is as good as it gets, but I'd like to at least try other options. There are plenty of places suggesting that just like everything else, different things suit different people!

@Merlin's_Beard they've been not working properly for about a week or so, unless you're quoted or @ .
People are going to 'Bookmarked threads' on the right hand side menu, and going to new posts from there.

We won't talk about the finances this month, after the camera and the accidentally paying for the zoo twice and paying for 1nvisalign. Basically everything I have diverted from mortgage OPs and then a lot more, out of the car budget.
I did come under food budget though! (It absolutely does not make up for being nearly twice over my petrol budget.)
I'm on day 6 of the mouth things, and I'm getting used to them (to the point where i tried to brush my teeth this morning without removing them, which is smart of me). 13 weeks and 1 day to go, if all goes well! (and then retainers and it may well not be, but here's hoping).
I have been very, very lax with the piano, which is partly a mood thing and partly not liking the free trial that I'm on. I have one more free trial to do, then I'll swing back to the first one, which felt like it was teaching a beginner with exercises and explanations, instead of just giving me sheet music and letting me fumble through. I need definite instructions!
And I have a free camera tutorial emailing me every week so I might learn how to use the camera.
But I HAVE finished the giant diamond painting I have been doing since January, and started a cross stitch.
Reading has been going okay, and I'm making my way through physical books that have been piled up since christmas. If anyone likes a folklorey green-man-of-the-forest falling in love with mortal, then Emily Tesh's Silver in the Wood, and the sequel Drowned Country, were perfect little reads.

In doctor news, going back onto the pill has been weird. Four days of the smoothest mood ever, and ever since then absolutely wildly up and down.
The doctor messaged me back, booking me a face to face appointment for the next day (I was at work)
So I called back the doctors, and they gave me a different appointment in July (they offered me one a week earlier, but it was with the very first doctor who was very dismissive, so.) This one is a female doctor. Which may be better or may be worse. I don't know.

A 'free' day off today (designed to WFH to complete a course, but I managed it in the evenings over the past few weeks).
Was planning to get the laundry done, but have come down to the road outside the washing line being tarmacked, so holding that thought and hoping that they disappear at some point!
Having a very nothing day - tidied up YNAB, will do the last week and this week of the photography course, and trial a little piano practice. I ought to be doing some writing for an event I'm doing (nothing special) but that will keep until my brain fires up again tomorrow.

Two weeks off! Here's hoping that it revitalises me a little.
Finance wise, I'm going to have to rejuggle money to pay bills in July. It feels like a failure to have to move money out of savings, mentally, even if they were all accounted for, and either necessary (new glasses) or carefully considered (new teeth!) or planned for (holiday) or something that's been on my to-do list for ages (new camera). But also I shuffled some into premium bonds a few months ago knowing this all was coming, it's all just happened to come due on the same month.
Actually under, again, on food spends, because I've been paying attention (which shows how much is just not paying attention).
Hopefully the only big spends this month are the holiday, which is budgeted for.
In garden news, the grass seed still hasn't sprouted so I've given up on it. WIll have to try again at some point. The rest of the garden is doing very well, and I've got sparrows picking through my roses pulling insects off it, so that's been lovely to see. At three years in I'm starting to hear more birdsong around the place. The raspberries are just starting to come through as well. I've got some awful crawling weed that's taken hold though so that's a battle.
