Yeah, I went direct! It's a lot of money but also I'm SO not sure and maybe the money is worth it not to spend the next four months worrying about what might happen.

(or maybe everything gets settled next week and I regret it, but, I had to make a decision one way or the other)

We've officially been sold to a corporate, effective end of the month. Lots of changes coming soon, and I'll probably have a new contract to look at.

(I know that legally I can stay on my old one but it's so wishy washy it's unlikely to be worth it because they can do anything they want on it)

  • I will wave the vague air of optimism at you and hope that you get a new contract that is at least a little better than what you currently have (vague optimism because I'm a Millenial and I know what "corporate" can often lead to 😑)

We have a meeting tomorrow in which they will shower us with rainbow promises, and then we'll see what happens over the next few months I guess.

Another virtual hug from here too. I get clumsy when I get tired - as my bruised and battered shins, ankles and forearms attest to … 😳🙄😂
