Sorry you're not well! But even with the loss of wages, it's more important to protect your health.
I have played horrified recently, apparently you can play it solo. It's really good, you play against the board. I can't wait to play it again.

Sorry to hear this - I had covid for the 2nd time in March and it did wipe me out for a few weeks after - my normal levels of fitness were not there so please take it easy for the next few weeks - its hard on your heart and everything I think..
Lots of liquids indeed (hot whiskey or brandy with sugar before bed works a treat!)DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

@redofromstart I've always heard good things about Scythe. @killerpeaty - horrified is a new name to me but I like a co-op/solo so will investigate it more.

April's pay has come in and assigned to May categories in YNAB... obviously quite dire after missing a week of work with no pay - one of my days off was covered but not the rest.
Thankfully can cover all essentials, mortgage OP categories, pensions etc. but will be a lot tighter on paying for the garden in June and definitely re-evaluating my plans for my week off in May (hopefully the weather is nice so I can get outdoors a lot).
Covid wise feeling a lot better but still quite snotty and sore throat and easily out of breath. But with it enough to put together my supporting evidence for my mileage claims for HMRC (the reduced payslip was definitely a kick up the !!!!!! there too!). Also added in my pension claim, because I tried to call yesterday and the automated voice told me they were very busy and then hung up on me.
Just need to wrangle an unhappy printer and laptop into acknowledging each other's existence and then that can get posted off (let's not get into how ridiculous it is that we can't just upload this stuff!).

Glad all the bases are covered financially in spite of the missing week and I hope the HRMC claim lands swiftly!
I know you are saying you are feeling better, but still be gentle with yourself for a while? A lot of long covid cases seem to arise where people push themselves too hard when they think they are recovered.

Hopefully it's just this month, but you'll be alright! You know how to budget and you have your emergency fund.
Calling hmrc is the devil. I read in one of the trade papers (a while ago) that 40% of calls go unanswered. I call them multiple times a week and I'm surprised it's that low. Most people can't sit on the phone for an hour (I do other work during this!). I find mornings are better than afternoons if it helps any.5
