21hr delay of TUI return flight from Kefalonia 16 May - Compensation?

As above, anyone know whether or not TUI are paying compensation? TUI stated delay was due to original flight not being able to land due to fog, but we didn't see any fog?

It may be fog that held up the plane in a previous flight.

Have you tried to make a claim?

If you provide the flight details someone might be able to look at the delay code. Some data however may not now be available in systems as a week has past.

I think you will be too late now (for 16 May flight) to look up the actual flight delay times/aircraft registration on Flightrader24 yourself.

Flightradar goes back to 16th, but OP needs to provide more info as requested.

16th had very bad fog in my part of the world and flights were diverted.

Speaking to someone who has just come back from Kefalonia they had spoken to people who were on an incoming flight that was diverted to mainland Greece because of fog and they arrived in Kefalonia a day late.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.
  • Many thanks to all that replied. No compo due to adverse weather conditions (fog) received standard letter.
