Hi just a thought you have changed an inverter lately is it set to g83 in the settings, i had similar grid over voltage when my system was installed the installer assumed that the inverter was set for the UK but came set to be German settings, got them to come and then reset it to g83.1

The inverter has been in 3 years 8 months. Two identical ones were fitted, one for each roof but so far I have only had the West roof switch off. It may be they are set to different thresholds but I haven’t had a look. I mentioned to the NPG engineer about adjusting the settings on the inverter but he suggested I wait and see what the investigation turns up. He mentioned they might fit a recording monitor to the transformer.Northern Lincolnshire. 7.8 kWp system, (4.2 kw west facing panels , 3.6 kw east facing), Solis inverters, Solar IBoost water heater, Mitsubishi SRK35ZS-S and SRK20ZS-S Wall Mounted Inverter Heat Pumps, ex Nissan Leaf owner)0

"Only 251.8v" is too close the the threshold of 253v & it's more than likely that your inverter is doing it's job & shutting down correctly. As mentioned before, they will move your supply to another tap on the transformer which is an easy job.4kWp (black/black) - Sofar Inverter - SSE(141°) - 30° pitch - North LincsInstalled June 2013 - PVGIS = 3400Sofar ME3000SP Inverter & 5 x Pylontech US2000B Plus & 3 x US2000C Batteries - 19.2kWh1

Todays output, voltage and combined plots. I had quite a long outage this afternoon. Maximum voltage was 259.8vNorthern Lincolnshire. 7.8 kWp system, (4.2 kw west facing panels , 3.6 kw east facing), Solis inverters, Solar IBoost water heater, Mitsubishi SRK35ZS-S and SRK20ZS-S Wall Mounted Inverter Heat Pumps, ex Nissan Leaf owner)0

Are both inverters showing a similar plot on the ac voltage Ken?4kWp (black/black) - Sofar Inverter - SSE(141°) - 30° pitch - North LincsInstalled June 2013 - PVGIS = 3400Sofar ME3000SP Inverter & 5 x Pylontech US2000B Plus & 3 x US2000C Batteries - 19.2kWh0

Similar plots which confirms that the problem is more than likely to be the supply. Other than being 15v too high, the shape of the graph is what you would expect. 252v at sunrise eliminates solar as the cause.
Our mains voltage has been between 232v & 242v today (242v at sunrise).4kWp (black/black) - Sofar Inverter - SSE(141°) - 30° pitch - North LincsInstalled June 2013 - PVGIS = 3400Sofar ME3000SP Inverter & 5 x Pylontech US2000B Plus & 3 x US2000C Batteries - 19.2kWh2 -
I forgot that my plug in energy meter shows voltage. It is quite variable and goes up and down with the sun but the house voltage is around 3v lower than what I am seeing at the inverters.Northern Lincolnshire. 7.8 kWp system, (4.2 kw west facing panels , 3.6 kw east facing), Solis inverters, Solar IBoost water heater, Mitsubishi SRK35ZS-S and SRK20ZS-S Wall Mounted Inverter Heat Pumps, ex Nissan Leaf owner)1

However, plug in energy monitors are typically accurate to +/- 3% & many of them only have a range upto 250v.4kWp (black/black) - Sofar Inverter - SSE(141°) - 30° pitch - North LincsInstalled June 2013 - PVGIS = 3400Sofar ME3000SP Inverter & 5 x Pylontech US2000B Plus & 3 x US2000C Batteries - 19.2kWh1
