Virgin down this lunch time

I have recently switched to Virgin and today I lost all service for a couple of hours. Does that happen very often? It has never happened to me before - on other networks I mean.

    Depends.  Virgin piggy-backs onto Vodafone so if the issue was with Vodafone it would have affected Virgin Mobile and all the other providers who piggy-back.
