Private parking PCN - debt collection status in Northern Ireland

Hi,
I've read the newbies posts.
I didn't get a windscreen ticket but the PCN came through the post addressed to me (by name) to my home address.
I have since received a debt recovery letter from ZZPS.
I was little confused by the advice on newbies reference to NTK (notice to keeper) - if I am already named on the correspondence how should I respond, if at all??
Thanks

The fourth post on the NEWBIES thread tells you exactly how to deal with debt collectors letters.
When you read the opening post of the NEWBIES thread, did you see this?...Who is the parking company?

Sorry, the parking company is Parkmaven ltd. I ignored their original PCN (thought thats generally what the newbie posts were recommending) and have got a first debt collection letter from ZZPS Ltd.
I did the see post above re: scotland/NI. It recommends complaining to store management if it is from a retail park. It was not from a retail park. It was for parking outside an apartment block.

You are named as the keeper. They got that from DVLA. As the others have said, being addressed as the keeper is one thing, do not let on who was driving. The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.2

Send the blue text initial appeal template from the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, first post, with a final sentence to tell them there can be no keeper liability in NI, so not to bother you again, then, thereafter, ignore them. That's the top and bottom of it.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Will do. I can't find an email address so will have to send it in the post. Hopefully that will work ok.
Thanks again.

Why not just Google it and use the Consumer Council? They know the score in NI:

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Do the Consumer Council there use no keeper liability as a basis for squashing the charge?
I saw that they've helped appeal loads of tickets but my friend is vulnerable and I don't want to risk her admitting being by the driver to the CC if they don't use the no keeper liability defence.0 -
They certainly do. They know the law.
Also, how can they say she was the driver if she doesn't even say that to the CC? She should ask them to handle it for her, as keeper, without saying who was driving but telling them this is making her ill and she is vulnerable.
Surely every driver in NI knows they can just ignore private parking charges?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
