Paid for a space still got PCN? Do I pay again?

I would be having a go a the management company or managing agent (whichever you have) and tell them to contact the PPC and ask them why, if they want residents/visitors to display an in-date permit they didn't send a replacement; as they failed to send such a replacement, the fault is theirs. I would also be asking why permits have to have an expiry date in the first place!1

Hi guys I got a ‘Letter of claim’ from DCB Legal? Is this what you told me to come back here with if I got one? What now? Thanks0

Reply robustly., as discussed on other LBC threads.
Read a dozen or so, please.
The way you are posting looks like you aren't reading any other LBC threads and are just coming here to your own page. That doesn't help you. Don't only read your page! This forum is a huge resource of people ahead of you.
Do NOT do a SAR.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You were advised last year to read your lease/AST, complain to the landowner, and complain to your MP.
How did you get on with all of that?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2 -

Do NOT do a SAR.0 -
Literally the first thing it says on part 2 of the thread I’m guessing you want me to read ‘if you have a thread reply on it don’t start a new one’? So thats what I was doing? Just looking for some help and advice0

Just want to make clear that I am grateful for any help or advice but I have about 40 tabs open now on different threads and some say contradictory things to others, if there is one specific thread that I should be following in this instance please can you link it to me, I was reading the newbies part 2 which it appears I should be sending an SAR but now apparently you’re saying don’t? I understand you help a lot of people and know a lot more than me so if you could just point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated thank you0

The reason for not submitting a SAR just yet is in case the claimant files a claim (which I don't think you have received yet) and using sparse particulars of claim (POC) then there is a defence that is being used here: -
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/80061273#Comment_80061273
and the whole thread: -
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6442990/ukpc-county-court-claim/p1
but if you submit a SAR and get back all the data the PPC holds on you, then you cannot use that defence because the claimant and the judge will say that you knew what is was all about. There is plenty of time after submitting a defence to submit the SAR and use it in your witness statement. This doesn't make the advice wrong, just different and evolving. This is why you (and every poster) is advised to read other threads not just their own. Search the forum for "sparse POC" and read some of the threads that come back. Switch the criterion from "Best Match" to "Newest".5 -

Just reply robustly, as seen in other LBC threads. I've written a few pushy examples.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
