Marks and Spencer do the same. I ordered a pair of pyjama bottoms for my husband and paid £25 online and when they arrived that label said £23.  I have since googled and found others saying the same about other products.  I rang M&S and they refunded the difference, although I think I was lucky that they did.

A lot of the time it's just stock that's been sitting in the warehouse that was previously sold at a lower price or in a previous sale. It means nothing as the relevant price is the price you agreed to pay as advertised at the time of sale.
