ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST
(are we still doing that?)Yes we are. Nicely done!
Loss of leave is covered in the CPRs; to be treated as the same thing as loss of earnings. The rep was desperately talking rubbish.
These firms also routinely try that trick/lie "we didn't receive the WS" so well done for disproving it.

Thank you all for your help on this forum. A cliché but I couldn't (and wouldn't) have done it without the templates, replies and wealth of information here.
Yes I will check back in on this forum from time to time. I may be back quite soon if QDR don't pay the costs I am now owed!1 -
It doesn't look like QDR are going to meet the deadline to pay my costs (30th May). Does anyone know the best way to chase this?0
-
It's only the 26th May, worry about it after the deadline.3
-
Just to wrap this up - QDR paid the costs today.

A 'post script' on this.
A letter turned up today with no postage stamp. Royal Mail wanted £2.50 before they would deliver it. We paid (probably won't in future though). Turned out to be from QDR solicitors, dated 23 May asking me to provide bank account details so they could transfer the court awarded sum! As you can see above, they have already paid (sorted via email).0 -

Well I emailed QDR with a screenshot and after a couple more emails they transferred the £2.50 to my account.3
