Prorepeater WIFI repeaters warning

157 Posts

In March I ordered a Prorepeater wifi repeater because I wasn't getting a good wifi signal in part of my house.
However it took a while for it to arrive and in the meantime while waiting for delivery, my router stopped working, (probably because I kept mucking about with it and dropped it)
I got a new router and surprise, my wifi signal improved and I didn't need the repeater any more.
When it eventually arrived I did not even take it out of the box but returned it under sale of goods act because it was bought online and I had 14 days to examine it and return it.
Prorepeater sent me instructions on how to return it so I did, I even got the return postage from PayPal.
As for the refund, I have been waiting for over 4 weeks despite emailing them and being told their finance department are dealing with it.
I'm never going to deal with them again.

Looks a bit suspicous to me... no address or registered company details.
And the writing doesn;t look great..
The booster is working with any type of router and supports any operator!
I wouldn't be suprised if it's a drop shipper from abroad and therefore customer service may be lacking.
How did you pay for the order?
