Excel PCN help

Hello again, I submitted the N180 to the county courts, ELMS and Excel, and received acknowledgem, ent from the Courts only. I had sent the N180 to the person I had been dealing with at Excel, to add to the list or thread for proof of conversation.Last week I received notice that ELMS is no longer acting in behalf of Excel. Is there anything I should be concerned about, or have I done what I should and now wait?0

That's all fine. Nothing to worry about.
Continue as described in that checklist you were following when you filed a Defence.0 -
Thank you, so now I wait for the request for a witness statement, if I remember correctly. Thank you again.

I had a court date, but just received an email with a notice of discontinuance.but strangely, not to an email I have used with them before, but instead with a personal one I used only with my MP. Is this a real notice? I don't know how it could not be, and they could only have got this email address from the MP email?

That's great news and must be because they noted your email from a communication from your MP.bs1998 said:I had a court date, but just received an email with a notice of discontinuance.but strangely, not to an email I have used with them before, but instead with a personal one I used only with my MP. Very good news! Another win by discontinuance!
One favour please:
We need you - as a genuine PPC victim of aggression, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt to add £60 or £70 as a 'numbers game' to line the pockets of the roboclaim hangers-on - to respond robustly to the Public Consultation.
It will specifically be ONLY about the level of parking charges and the banning of the false added DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.
It will need consumer input (powerful voices) but change is afoot. It's taken about 5 years to get to this stage:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6333036/breaking-news-government-has-announced-the-statutory-code-of-practice-and-enforcement-framework/p1
And then the industry threw victims' money at it and blocked and delayed it - explained here:

Please now Bookmark BOTH threads and set up email alerts on your posting profile, so that you get an email alert when we post there, as we will, once the Public Consultation opens.

I will happily do that.Do you know if they will they send a confirmation by post as well? I am tempted to email them using the email address I used in my communication with them to confirm, or is that a bad idea?0

Did they attach a N279 Notice of Discontinuance? Did they state the court has been advised? I would, if you have time before any planned court date, just wait for a letter from the court but don't drop the ball just yet; we have known claimants send emails like that but accidentally "forget" to advise the court! If you have an impending court date, just phone the court and ask.

Yes they did, and certified all parties had been informed. And the court was in the email addresses.3

Then you have won!
