😹 it's an indoor mesh . Everytime the windows open , spiders like to visit 🕷 The net is a pita to keep up due to sticky tape stuff that comes with it ..in_my_wellies said:
Did you catch the net curtain with the clippers?another_casualty said:
I did intend to do the softly softly approach , but I just couldn't gain access to the side or back of the growth so I had to be a bit more ruthless to manage it now and in the future when it gets out of control again .I don't know how much damage I have done , but I had to stop having that playing on my mind and procrastinating .I'll leave it there , and await your further comments 😸0 -
...and who visited the block today ? Yes, the gardeners 🤦♂️Not expected of course . They were here a lot longer this time . They did a more thorough job in the block, and did look at my efforts . Nothing for them to do obviously except a bit of raking .It will be interesting to see if the managing agents are told that I cut the growth, or if nothing is said which I now prefer. I'm not complaining really , but just scratching my head as the response from the managing agents seemed to suggest they wouldn't be here for some time yet . When I first moved here 5 years ago, there was some sort of continuity , and the growth was maintained . It may have been a week or 2 overdue at times but there were key times when the previous gardeners appeared in August etc.
Looking ahead pending on how many more visits take place this year, I may have to make another cut in November like I did last year .I'll leave it there ..0
