I was told by  a company call McLaren Credit Services that I owe money that I should have paid to PurePlanet when they gone burst. I cancelled by DD as soon as they gone burst.

McLaren Credit Services first send me a text asking me to enter by DOB and other details, which I didn't as many of these fraud texts.
After 2 weeks I got a call detailing about the reason for the call, I confirmed to them by address and email address but refused to confirm DOB.

I asked them to send me the invoice by email or post as I confirmed by email and address to them. But nothing happened so far.
What should I do..? Not sure why they can't send me invoice by post/email..? No news from them in last 3 weeks. I suppose they will increase the amount a lot by now..?
What steps I need to take..? I don't want to call them and ask for invoice again..? Could they come to my house for recovery without giving me any more notice ..? So far apart from that call and text no other communication from this debt collectors..

I am worried but not keen to call them and give my details back to them. Any suggestions..? Thanks

There is an email for McClaren credit services and confirmation they are debt collectors for pure planet.in the link below.

I suggest you email them putting in your request again and keep all copies of correspondence

Every time that they contact you ,insist on a fully detailed statement of account ,showing clearly how the debt has been incurred. Personally I wouldn't contact them -make them do the chasing. They can't actually use bailiffs to enforce a bill without getting a CCJ first.

I am getting very conflicting advice here
But anyway I am thinking of contacting them via email and see if I can get option to pay off to close this case and headache.
May be thats the better option..?

Your title was "How to get an invoice from McClaren"

I provided the official price Waterhouse Cooper web page with official contact details and confirmation McClaren were the debt collectors.

What you do with that information is now up to you. Personally if I owe a debt and know I do I try to be proactive before something nasty lands on the door mat but that's me and we are all different.

Hi. I have been in the same situation. You have my sympathy as I know how stressful it is. In my opinion McLaren is not fit to do this job as their communications are unsatisfactory in the extreme, and they are behaving appallingly, but I am now personally satisfied (at least by about 98%) that they are acting for the administrators of Pure Planet and that some energy remained unpaid for up to 16th October when my account transferred to Shell. I have refused to pay money over the phone or to click on links in text messages. After a number of emails sent to the address on the McLaren website, and a letter sent to their complaints department, I have received an email confirming the amount outstanding and providing payment information which can be done via internet banking. I asked Shell to confirm that they will not also ask for payment for the same energy (ie meter readings). Which they have. The only advice I can give is to email or write to the Customer Services department, stating that you are willing to pay once you have been given information in writing/email about meter readings used, date account transferred and how to pay via method you are comfortable with. Then if it were ever to escalate, you have evidence that you are being proactive and reasonable and that they are not. Good luck.

I have had McLarn chasing me since our planet we tvbust, all I want is a proper invoice sent by post to pay the bill.  Most days they call me but their number is blocked.  I'm with she'll energy not though choice, crap service, no point changing providers when so much termoil in the market.  If McClan can't even oblige me with an invoice showing where they finished the reading, and she'll took over, I maybe paying them to much if it was estimated - period
