Hi all
Id like to buy Mother a tablet (70+ year old). She currently uses an Android phone, and its painful to see her squinting at her phone, so thought Id treat her to a tablet. She uses Facebook, checks the news, reads recipes. But not much more. I feel like an iPad would be a waste. So whats a good tablet thats cheap? My budget is about £150. Perhaps I should buy a reconditioned tablet?
Thanks

Struggles to see what sized screen? Sounds like the bigger the screen the better but £150 maybe on the low
side for a decent screen size whilst having a quality screen. Both are fairly important to have a decent viewing

We got an Amazon fire HD 10 they come on sale fairly often
Good screen
The newer one hd plus are better and get in budget.
Can set it up with full playstore.
When looking they were probably the best bang for buck.
They do 8 and 7.

My mother's experience with the 7 inch kindle Fire was that the speakers were too quiet.
