Not all GB rail tickets are available in e-ticket form (notably anything involving a cross-London transfer or a PlusBus add-on can only be issued as a paper ticket) so it's not entirely down to the customer.

One workaround is to use Apple Pay or Paypal (if the ticket vendor offers these options) when buying tickets for collection using a Chase card - this means that your order will be set to 'any card' collection so the mismatch between the online and physical card numbers won't matter.

If you are indeed stuck with paper tickets, and need to pre-book them for pickup, you could also use the free Curve card to pay. It's a Mastercard with a fixed number, and you still get any applicable Chase cashback.
