Vanguard S&P 500 UCITS ETF-via HL Sipp....

Hi mser's

Vanguard S&P 500 UCITS ETF-via HL Sipp....
Is it possible to contribute via monthly savings amount, similar to isa funds.
Whilst I have selected this via HL Sipp, it's not yet seen, only -
Cash to be held on account pending investment

Is this correct, iirc I think the ETF Fund name appears once 1st trade is made during June.

thanks

As long as your regular investment is more than the VUAG share price as I believe HL do not offer fractional ETF purchases.

Amazing as I'll need to adjust contributions from June.
I couldn't find any minimum from HL costs nor VL Simple Prospectus.

    thanks

How much are you investing per month?

Considering ETF regular investments with HL cost £1.50 if you are buying 1 share each time (~£60) you are effectively paying 2% each time.

Obviously the other question would be why limit yourself to 500 US companies?

I've reselected 65 gpb per month, though this I assume purchases units rather than share type purchases. (held in HL Sipp)
S&P500 -I don't believe Tech has had it's time, maybe I'll catch recovery in a few years.
I haven't read over any wider US Markets as yet.

    Thanks

Too late to change from ETF as currently pending, though I appreciate maybe I could have chosen Fidelity Index World P Acc,
I'll re consider from next week after calling HL to check if my chosen S&P 500 ETF is valid etc.

    thanks

Not too concerned over non Global Tracker choice, though could re consider another time.
Happy to allow S&P 500 a few years.
    Thanks appreciate advice today.

Not sure what you mean by ‘to check if my chosen S&P 500 ETF is valid’, but you should be able to find out anything via their website. You can always send a secure message if you have any questions, I personally find this easier and more efficient than phoning them up.

I've used secure messaging which is very good, and sometimes if I'm wrong with my choices, it has resulted in HL taking time to call me.
Now that  I've been re assured by increasing sums above ETF Share price, then my monthly savings should be valid, though would like to understand where I could find that info.
Maybe HL will have option of Cancelling during Pending status, or I shall wait until it goes live during June and re consider if I'm making the right fund choice.

    thanks
