Amex credit limit….not really

Just thought I’d post my experience of Amex i needed to pay for a family holiday to 9k and only have a 3700 limit on Amex wanted to use the Amex to get a flight voucher etc so I asked on chat how I can put through account a large purchase when my limit isn’t enough. They said split the purchase and pay back and then pay…

This is only for Amex charge cards it won't work with Amex credit cards.
