Tui check-in issue

I went through the check in process (I think) and got an email saying i was checked in for both outbound and inbound flights and that my boarding passes were attached. However there is a pdf file for my outbound flight but not the inbound. Tried to use their chat button but queue of 51 estimated 2 hr 45 wait!

It's possible that the destination you are flying to needs to manually issue boarding passes, so no-one will get a boarding pass until they check-in at the airport for the return.
You could try to sort this out at the airport when you fly out, but I think the best answer is to use the Chat and check back every 15 minutes to see how far you have moved in the queue. I would expect that some people will drop out and you will get answered within a couple of hours.

My travel agent (Hay's) phoned yesterday to advise TUI tickets were ready for collection - outward only, and that the return tickets would be issued at the Spanish airport on the day.I suspect the OP may be in the same situation.TUI should flag that up of course - I reckon the in resort rep will be able to sort it out.1

Hi you can only access TUI boarding passes for the return flight (possibly on or) after the date you fly out at the moment - it's a bit of a pain
If you have the TUI App you should be able to access them there
That or get your holiday accom to print them for you after you get them off their website https://flightextras.tui.co.uk/
I had to do some for some Customers in Crete yesterday and emailed them to the hotel to printI am a Travel AgentMy company’s ABTA/ATOL numbers are G9172/6053. Sure everything will be fine. It wasn’t so many years ago that this was the norm. Go to airport, checkin, get given a boarding pass.0 -
Is the problem that boarding passes are available a certain number of days before travel? This would mean that the outbound tickets would be available first and the returns a number of days later.I'm sure that Ryanair worked like this and that I had to print out return tickets at my holiday hotel.0

Probably stating the obvious, but have you scrolled to the end of the PDF file you have received? Could all 4 passes be in the one file?Past caring about first world problems.0

Well I got through to Tui on the phone (about 45 min wait....) and was told I've checked in for both outbound and inbound flights but I can't get a boarding pass (via app/website) for a seat on the inbound flight until 48 hours before departure - or leave it til I arrive at the airport. Seems a crazy time-wasting system

I got the boarding passes for my Customers inbound flight yesterday and they fly back 15th May

Trust me we've done loads of these and 90% of the time you can get your Boarding Passes as soon as you get to destination1
