Chase card Costco

I have had a problem using my Chase card on a Lloyds bank website. They come back with an error saying it's not a Mastercard debit card. Chase say it is. I've had two or three other instances over a year where the Chase card will not work for payments and I suspect it's the same problem.

As far as i know and have seen, it will authorise whatever you have available upto £99 to the nearest pound then debit the fuel and the rest is unauthorised.

That's not what happened to me. I didn't have the £99 in my bank at the time because i forgot to transfer money from my savings so it wouldn't authorise the payment and my card was declined.

I did return later that day having transferred some funds and my card worked just fine.
