Shawbrook Easy Access to 6m Fixed

Hello.
I follow the other threads on top accounts but didn't see this mentioned.
When I logged in to Shawbrook to open the 6m fixed @ 2% I couldn't find an option to transfer funds to it from my existing Shawbrook Easy Access account (0.67%). It only says you can pay in via your linked account, which means I would need to transfer all funds out to my linked and back in again, so I left it for now as a bit of a PITA.
Does anyone know if you can do this once the account is open or has anyone e-mailed them about it?
I'm just wondering if it's worth e-mailing them to see if they will do a manual internal transfer.

No you can do this - I did it myself last week
select your easy access account and send a message - choosing the transfer to another shawbrook account from the drop down
choose how much you want to move to the fixed account and send it
it will be moved in a day or so

They're unlikely to act on email - better with a secure message.0

Unfortunately, as they are suffering with large volumes, you may as well just go through the hassle of transferring it. Withdrew on Monday AM, arrived on Tuesday, back in Shawbrook 6 month Fixed by Tuesday evening.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

Yep i tried it just as a test and it’s very easy- but it’s not instant
it won’t reach the fixed for at least a day
im actually transferring all my deposits from my nominated account- but as I had some cash in mr shawbrook easy access I thought it give it a go to see how easy it was
p.s. You know their easy access pays 0.89% now? Not sure how you go about getting yours upgraded though as I’ve never done that0 -
Don't start the 'out and back in' on a Friday - you'll lose the funds in cyber space until lunch time Monday before you can send it back.1

I only just got them to up it from it's previous rate to 0.67%. You just send them a secure message requesting them to do it. I learned that from this forum tooI will have to request again while I'm at it.

Thanks @cloud_dog but I was just trying to avoid that as I would have to do a min. of 3 transfers out (max. 1 per day) and then 3 in due to the daily FP limit with my bank.

I read lately that if they withdraw the account - shawbrook still give you an additional 7 days to get more deposits in
I think!0
