Interesting point about a driver if the vehicle is empty - who is the driver if someone ( say me ) parks a car, and then gives the keys to my wife who drives it away 2 hours later?
The driver who parked the car is the one who allegedly agreed the contract to park.
Of which I did! My permit happened to fall down - it has happened to many others too who all had their appeals approved. Such an annoying situation! Thanks for everyone's help so far.

Such a shame you admitted to driving, effectively, as this isn't relevant land and the keeper isn't liable.  An admitted driver potentially is, but only if a Judge says so.

Is that pic of the Gladstones letter?  The £80 capped legal fees is untrue.

It's £50.  Complaint to the SRA in order.

     It is indeed. Thank you
  • Council reached out to PS24 - PS24 said they will not cancel this as it has been too long...
Council has since revoked parking permits for my workplace and now we all have to park on the streets instead - Fantastic!

For your SRA complaint you might want to also use some of the complaint arguments I've just typed here for someone else who is complaining to the SRA about misleading guff from a DRA/solicitor roboclaim firm who've (allegedly) added false costs that the DLUHC has banned in February:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6342769/debt-collection-letter-zzps-re-pcn-company-car-no-ntk-ever-received#latest

However, you do have to complain to Gladstones first and ask for their Final Response.  Only then can you 'light the blue touchpaper' and go to the SRA and CSA about this anti-consumer rubbish and allege a breach of their code/standards.
