My first instinct was the same as a previous poster - she just wants to sell it at a higher price herself.Assuming that completed listings are showing it sells for £100+, carry on. Hope it sells!(Who misses a dress?!)1

Pass me the tissues.I would suggest that the seller realised that she could potentially get more for the dress than she sold it for. So no...I wouldn't sell the dress back to her.1

CapeTown said:I see what is going on here. She has realised that she undersold the dress and wants it back to sell it herself again at a higher price. She is emotionally blackmailing you. It isn't her dress anymore. It is yours. If you sell it at the higher price then donate a little bit to charity.1

I really miss the house we lived in 25 years ago and would like to buy it back for the price we sold it for.6

This happened to me after I bought a piano from a friend for about £200. She missed it, and asked to buy it back. I sold it to her for less than I had paid, to recognise the fact that I'd had the use of it for several years.
Have you worn this dress much?0 -
If someone sells their house for £20,000 but it's now worth £1 million, if the seller comes back and says they want to rebuy the house but pay the original £20,000, is that okay?
A bit different but same theme.
Not sure of anyone who would miss an item of clothing though.1 -
I'm a little suspicious here. If she really misses the dress, perhaps she wouldn't have sold it in the first place. I suspect she has got wind of the chance of selling it on for £120 herself. If you want to sell it, put it on the auction site and see what you can get for it yourself. What puzzles me is - if it can sell for £120, how come you managed to buy it for £25?1

If you sell it back to her for £25 what is to say she will not then try to sell it for the £120?0
