Congratulations. I may give it a try when I have a few spare hours0

Hi I have been having the same problem with Nationwide VBV on my credit card for months.
Finally got it fixed by calling the normal number (08457 30 20 10) not selecting any options (think I might have done the initial press 1). Then after a long wait a useful sounding bloke heard all about it; he tried putting me thru to the technical department that deals with it but without success. So instead he took my details (I said I had been having problems for several months).
I didn't have much hope but a few hours later someone called back and after some severe security checks he reset my password!0 -
Order a new card, don't register it with Vbv, bingo! No More VbV problems!0

I had a similar-ish problem with Capital One V-by-V yesterday .... I have a second card on hubbie's account, and discovered that the shopping site presented me with HIS login and asked me for HIS password. Obviously V-by-V is not geared for joint cards that have the same card number. Lucky he was around, otherwise my shopping would have had to wait ... Most banks will only let you avoid registering for the first few times you use a site that is on vbv, the reason is if you dont register and then a chargeback happens, your bank is responsible rather than the merchants....0
