Wembley Retail Park Over stay fine

Options
I was parked at the retail park, I did not know there was a 90 minute limit as to how long I was allowed to stay, according to the ticket It shows me coming in & out of car park I stayed 22 minutes over the time limit. Do I pay. Ignore or appeal. Reading items about this from 4 years ago seems to be a bit of a scam.
Anyone please advise.

    Hello and welcome.

The keeper should send the blue text template appeal easily found in the opening post of the NEWBIES thread.

What is the name of the parking company?

Wembley Park is a frequent flyer on this forum. From memory there are no/insufficient entry signs.

Send the template appeal as already advised, unaltered, from the keeper.

Do a forum search for the site, and have a look at Google Streetview as there are several useful images going back several years to show how inadequate the entry signs are.

I don't think it is. There are at least two parking companies that begin with UK Parking that I can think of, but have more words after that.

Hi  UK Parking Patrol Office. There are 2 yellow squares with black letter P 1 facing backwards & 1 facing forwards on the top right hand side of the PCN letter.

The blue badge scheme does not apply on private land. Most unregulated private parking companies do not make allowances on their signs for disabled motorists, and in most cases they specifically say that Ts and Cs apply to disabled motorists without exceptions. Perhaps this is one of the locations/companies that concessions are made for disabled motorists, but only if they are parked in an accessible bay and displaying a blue badge.

They are IPC members as opposed to UK Parking Control, who are BPA members. That's why it is important to be accurate when providing information on this forum.

Thank you for your advice. I have been back to the car park & there seems to be plenty of signs around obviously I've been ignorant in reading them, as for the 3hour I saw it it had to have been elsewhere as there is no sign. Thank you KeithP & Fruitcake I will however continue to appeal
