So this site is nothing more than a designer ebay. While they do check that they are genuine designer goods. They are not selling the item. So your claim is against the seller. Who as a private seller means you have to take it up with them.
this is the point Vestaire should have noticed discrepancies and returned the shoes to the seller, refunding the buyer, so whilst usually a seller would be responsible the OP has also paid Vestaire for a service thats not been done adequately IYSWIM.
Their service is to check they are not fake. Can't see they do anything more than that. Especially when dealing with 2nd hand goods.
But it would appear Op has not looked through site options.
