IHD data should return.  A remote power cut is the method that the DCC uses to reboot the comms hub.

How does that work? They are not going to turn the power off to the property only to the comms hub, and the comms hub has to be alive to turn itself off, then how does it turn itself back on?

@Swipe have you tried a hard reset of the IHD as close to the meter as you can and leave it there for an hour?
Yep, I've tried it about 5 times now. I've given up on it now. As long as it's calculating my daily, weekly and monthly costs as normal I'm not too fussed. Just a bit annoying that these gadgets are so temperamental.

I don't have a IHD for my smart meter, SMETS1, it got water damaged in 2015/16. If you get monthly bills then the tariff info will be on the bill.
That wasn't the point, he knows what the tariff is.

The comms hub is the device that connects to the DCC Network. It is powered by its connection to the smart electricity meter. Built into the comms hub is a remote reset facility which the DCC can use to turn power off to the comms hub for 15 minutes. Some of the newer comms hubs reset once every 24 hours.

If a remote reset fails, then the supplier will dispatch an installer to pull the main house fuse for 15 minutes.
